Regional Compliance
If you want a better idea where your shared floating licenses are being used at LAMUM can provide extensive reporting. I was able to use this tool to see that we had licenses that were not in compliance and used in regions not originally licensed for.
It was so much quicker just looking at group details under the usage tab instead of trying to read log files on any of the servers.

Saving Time
TeamEDA’s LAMUM is a tool that is more than worth the investment also the time saved with this application has been astronomical. The reports that can be generated automatically once everything has been configured allows me to focus on more pressing issues.
This tool is so robust that I have not even utilized all the features yet. Important time-saving tools are their ability to integrate into an Active Directory domain for the user or even group reports, emails for server down alerts or even long checkout warnings to users.
Chargeback Reports
It has also been helpful in how I can share just specific information with read-only rights, so people cannot tinker with something unknowingly.
One feature that has been more than beneficial for my director would be the chargeback percentages. Instead of him having to go in and manually create invoices for a specific tool to charge to a site we can use LAMUM to take care of that.
Denials
When I have users saying we don’t have enough licenses I can use the “Denials” reports to show them why it makes sense or not purchase more licenses. Proving our use cases with these metrics for these expensive licenses has saved our team more than enough time and headaches with the excellent to follow charts and graphs.
Support
Anything I was unable to configure correctly by trying to follow their documentation was easily fixed by calling TeamEDA.
Their staff has always been professional and quite knowledgeable about the problems I’ve experienced. Their team has some of the brightest minds of people I’ve spoken to and I do work with quite a bit of engineers. Any further implementations I’ve asked about were either included in the next release or fixed within a few days with their help.
My experience with all their team members has been very pleasing with such a strong tool. TeamEDA has a strong team of experts and their LAMUM is a phenomenal program that I can’t recommend enough if you need better insight on license management.
